7/29/2022 This is the public access site for the District of Columbia Court of Appeals courts case management system, C-Track. Currently, public access to certain case documents, briefs and orders, is available for civil cases filed or entered after August 1, 2021. The following information is available: case title, appellate case number, docket entries, and links to briefs and orders filed in those civil cases listed in Order M-274-21 (PDF)

09/10/2021 Public Access Pilot Project: Redacted Briefs—Updated FAQs and Special Note
Beginning August 1, 2021 (See Order M274-21 PDF) filers must remove personal information from briefs in certain civil cases: Civil I, Collections, Contracts, General Civil, Landlord and Tenant, Liens, Malpractice, Merit Personnel, Other Civil, Property, Real Property, Torts and Vehicle Cases. To file your redacted brief, fill out and attach a Redaction Certification then use the drop down menu in the eFiling system to select “Redacted Brief.” Learn more about redaction.
SPECIAL NOTE: Please remember that if your documents are rejected for any reason due to non-compliance of the order of M-274-21 and not filed by the scheduled due date, you must file a motion for leave to file the brief out of time.
01/19/2018 Mandatory eFiling at the D.C. Court of Appeals
On Tuesday, February 20th, eFiling will become mandatory for all attorneys practicing at the D.C. Court of Appeals. This includes all agency attorneys who are not D.C. Bar members as well as attorneys practicing pro hac vice. Pro se litigants will still have the option to file at the court’s Public Office. Review the administrative order governing eFiling.
Please ensure that "dcappeals.gov" is marked as a "trusted sender" in your email account so that you will receive important notifications from the court.

DC Court of Appeals eFiling enables attorneys and self-represented litigants to view case dockets and submit filings electronically. The system features a publicly available real-time view of the case docket and a simple mechanism to submit filings to the court electronically and free of charge. Attorneys may file documents in any case and self-represented litigants may file documents in any case where they are a party. When searching for cases, you can narrow down the returned results by including the case type Case Code with your search. For example, search using “16-AA” to view a listing of all Administrative Agency appeals filed in 2016. Below is a listing of all of the available case types and their associated codes.
